October 28, 2011 - Blackberry, Microsoft Cloud Play Goes To Open Beta
BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion's (RIM) and Microsoft's cloud collaboration, which offers a RIM (NSDQ:RIMM)-hosted cloud-based service that extends Microsoft (NSDQ:MSFT) Exchange Online to BlackBerry smartphones, has been launched into open beta, the two companies have revealed.
First discussed in March, the BlackBerry and Microsoft cloud integration, dubbed BlackBerry Business Cloud Services for Microsoft Office 365, also lets users self-manage their BlackBerry deployments in the cloud.
